Joe Meara (born 4 August 1975) is a former professional snooker player from Northern Ireland.

2003

He spent three seasons as a professional, as well as entering in the preliminary rounds of the World Snooker Championship and Masters Qualifying Event as an amateur. His most successful season was in 2003–04, where his best ranking finish was in the last 80 of the 2004 European Open. He qualified for the 2011–12 professional Main Tour by topping the Northern Ireland rankings, however dropped off the tour at the end of that season after playing a limited schedule due to financial issues and lost every match he played.
