Jeff Richards (born January 3, 1991) is a gridiron football defensive back who is a free agent.
He was most recently a member of the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
He played college football at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M from 2009 to 2010 before transferring to Emporia State.
Richards helped the Redblacks win the 104th Grey Cup after defeating the Calgary Stampeders 39–33.
On December 17, 2013, Richards attended a tryout with the New York Jets, but was not signed.
In 2015, Richards played five games for the Spokane Shock of the Arena Football League and recorded 25 combined tackles, eight pass deflections, and a forced fumble.
Richards played for the Ottawa Redblacks of the CFL from 2015 to 2016.
In his first season, he recorded four combined tackles in three games.
He previously played for the Ottawa Redblacks and helped them win the 104th Grey Cup in 2016.
He finished the 2016 season with 18 combined tackles in ten games.
