He played in the Czech First League for seven seasons, representing five different clubs.

2009

He was appointed head coach of Czech First League team Bohemians Prague in August 2009, replacing Robert Žák.

2010

After relegation from the Czech First League in his first season, he led Bohemians to first place with a record 80 points in the Bohemian Football League in the 2010–11 season.

2011

He left his position in June 2011, when he was replaced by František Barát.

2012

He returned to Bohemians in 2012 but was replaced by Ivan Pihávek in October 2012, having held a record of one win, seven draws and one loss in the first nine league games of the season.
