In 2013, Page served as a student panelist for the Voter's Education Forum at Saint Augustine's University in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The forum discussed how to improve transportation for low-income families and how to assist private institutions.
This was the beginning of his political career.
In January 2013, Jarius interned with the North Carolina General Assembly, for the House of Representatives, serving State Representative, Elmer Floyd, District 43, Cumberland County.
After working with Representative Elmer Floyd, He participated and became a Democracy Fellow with Common Cause North Carolina.
While working with Common Cause, Page along with classmates and colleagues from North Carolina State University, canvassed Wake County communities encouraging citizens to vote.
Later Page was interviewed by a statewide radio station, Public News Service where he expressed his concern about voting rights and challenges citizens face with new voting legislation.
He served as a college representative for two historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) including Saint Augustine's University and Livingstone College from 2015 to 2020.
Jarius Page was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, the son of John Page and Denise Page.
The university incoming enrollment increased from 211 students in 2015 to 435 students in 2017.
