Nawabzada Mir Jamal Khan Raisani (نوابزادہ میر جمال خان رئیسانی; born 20 November 1998), is a Pakistani politician from Quetta, Balochistan and Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, the youngest lawmaker in the history of Pakistan at the time of assuming office.

2011

Raisani commenced his education at The City School Quetta Campus, continuing until 2011.

Following a tragedy in his family when his elder brother, Shaheed Hakmal Khan Raisani, fell victim to a bomb attack in Mastung, Pakistan, Raisani pursued his education overseas.

2017

He attended Chiang Rai International School in Thailand and graduated in 2017.

Raisani obtained his bachelor's degree in International Development from Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) in Thailand in 2022.

Currently, he is pursuing a Master's degree in Conflict Management from MFU.

Guided by his familial heritage and understanding of Balochistan's socio-political landscape, Raisani entered the political arena.

He initially aligned with the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) before joining the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) in 2022.

Raisani became the Coordinator to the Chief Minister of Balochistan on Youth Affairs on July 17, 2022, as his first political appointment.

Later, he became the Caretaker Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs, and Culture on September 4, 2023, making history as the youngest minister of Pakistan.

Raisani won the 2024 Pakistani general election from NA-264 Quetta-III as a Pakistan People's Party Parliamentarians candidate, becoming Pakistan's youngest ever lawmaker as youngest member of the National Assembly of Pakistan to date.

Apart from his political commitments, Raisani is an Ex- Professional football player.

He pursued a career in football since his time in Thailand, being recruited by Chiangrai United's academy, making it to the first team in Chiangrai United in Thailand’s top flight in Thai Premier League and later joining Chiang Rai Lanna.

2020

Raisani was also called up to the international camp of the Pakistan Football Federation in 2020.

Raisani also serves as the Patron-in-Chief of Shuhada Forum Balochistan, a platform dedicated to honoring martyrs who lost their lives in terrorist attacks in Balochistan.
