Jacques Mézard (born 3 December 1947) is a French lawyer and politician of the Radical Party of the Left who has been serving as a member of the Constitutional Council since 2019.

1970

Additionally, he served as Vice President of Pantheon-Sorbonne University from 1970 to 1975.

1971

From 1971 to 1976, he worked as a lawyer in Paris and taught law at the Pantheon-Sorbonne University.

1977

From 1977 to 2009, he worked as a lawyer in Aurillac.

1982

He served as Deputy Mayor of Aurillac from 1982 to 1993.

1994

He also served as a member of the General Council of Cantal from 1994 to 2008.

2008

A member of the Radical Party of the Left (PRG), he was a Senator representing the Cantal department from 2008 to 2017, and again from 2018 until 2019.
