French playwright and screenwriter of strong pacifist convictions, an ardent advocate of free expression. He began as a journalist and film critic in the 1920's. After World War II, he became editor of Le Canard Enchaîné and later contributed articles to the publication under the alias Huguette ex-Micro.

1948

He was a writer, known for The Loves of Colette (1948), Lady Paname (1950) and FanFan la Tulipe (1952). He was married to Claude Marcy.
