Faqir Hussain (born 15 May 1948) is a Pakistani former footballer who played as a forward.

1958

Faqir Hussain joined Pakistan Airforce in 1958.

1960

Hussain played for the Pakistan national team in the 1960s.

He was among the players present in the 1960 Asian Cup qualifiers hosted by India in Ernakulam in 1959.

Under the captaincy of Qayyum Changezi, Pakistan faced Iran, India and Israel twice each in the qualifiers.

Although Israel managed to qualify by topping the group, Pakistan achieved a memorable victory over Iran by 4–1 and secure a draw against Israel, finishing in third place in the group, ahead of hosts India but behind Iran.

1961

In 1961, while playing for Pakistan Airforce in a friendly game against the Iranian club Shahin F.C., he scored all 4 goals for his team in a match which ended in a 6–4 defeat.

He also played Inter Services, and National Championship with in the country.

1964

In 1964 also played Pre-Olympic versus Iran in Teheran and the match was drawn, second match was played at Lahore and Iran won the match and qualified for the 1964 Olympic Tokyo/Japan.

He represented Pakistan National Football team for Ten years and was also Captain for four years.

1965

Played RCD Cup 1965.

While playing in China, he was declared as the fastest player.
