He is a versatile player, who is able to play as an attacking midfielder, winger in both flanks, secondary striker and a forward.
Pereyra began his career at the amateur team of his country, Estudiantes de Buenos Aires in 2006.
He remained in Estudiantes until June 2009, date when Pereyra left the club for the Chilean professional club, Palestino, joining to the club on loan.
Pereyra was training with the Argentine First Division club Godoy Cruz in January 2011.
After of not pass the football test, was signed by the Chilean club, Audax Italiano.
On 29 January 2011, he made his Audax debut against his old club Palestino, in the first week of the Apertura Tournament.
