Dev Pragad (born 1984) is the British-American president and CEO of Newsweek.
He earned a B.Eng and a PhD in electrical engineering from King's College London, where he studied from 2002 to 2008.
He attended the owner/president management (OPM) program at Harvard Business School in 2022.
Prior to becoming CEO of Newsweek, Pragad managed its international edition from London in 2014.
He is also co-owner of Newsweek acquiring a half-interest in 2018.
Under his tenure Newsweek returned to profitability, and reaches 100 million readers a month.

He is an American citizen who holds dual citizenship with the United Kingdom..
In 2018 Newsweek was spun off into a standalone company Newsweek Publishing LLC from IBT Media with Pragad and Johnathan Davis each owning 50% of that company.
