Darren Charles Waller (born September 13, 1992) is an American football tight end for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL).
Waller attended and played college football at Georgia Tech as a wide receiver where he redshirted his freshman season of 2011 and decided to forgo his final year of eligibility by entering the 2015 NFL draft.
He played college football at Georgia Tech and was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL draft.
He is the great-grandson of composer and jazz pianist Fats Waller.
Darren Waller was born in Landover, Maryland, to Dorian and Charlena Waller.
He was raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Marietta, Georgia, and Acworth, Georgia.
He produces hip-hop music in his spare time.
The Baltimore Ravens selected Waller in the sixth round with the 204th overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft.
