2009

Jacobs began attending Laney College after graduating from high school in 2009.

2010

While playing for Laney he caught 27 passes for 238 yards and 2 touchdowns in 2010.

2011

In 2011, he began attending Utah State and playing for their football team as a wide receiver.

As a junior in his first season with Utah State, he played in all 13 games, while starting in 5.

He ended his junior season with 20 receptions, 218 receiving yards, and 2 touchdown receptions.

Jacobs returned as a senior to play in all 13 games with 6 starts.

2012

He had his best year at the collegiate level, ending the 2012 season with 41 receptions, 608 receiving yards, and also tied for a team-high 5 touchdown receptions.

He finished his collegiate career at Utah State with 61 receptions, 826 receiving yards, and 7 receiving touchdowns.

He was waived by the Ravens on November 30.
