Timeline

1986

Chris began his fascination for film and television production after literally stumbling on to a film set whilst on a primary school excursion in Sydney's Centennial Gardens in 1986. Since that day, Chris spent a lot of his youth making cardboard film cameras, broomstick boom-poles, modifying tape recorders and dismantling microphones in order to understand their workings. On occasion he'd convince his younger siblings, patient friends and local neighbourhood identities to star in his "productions".

1993

It was not until 1993 whilst at high school that he finally had an opportunity to formally begin "mucking-around" with operational video equipment. It was at this stage when Chris realised he could replace and add sound in the editing process, leading him to start collecting and recording his own sound effects.

1995

Lured by the desire to learn and understand more about the realities and technicalities of film making, Chris attended TAFE to study screen production in 1995, and followed that up with three years at the Queensland College of Art (1996-1998) where he discovered the thrills of computer-aided post production sound editing/design.
