She was born in Sironko District on 12 December 1956.

1979

Beatrice Wabudeya graduated with a veterinary degree of Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM) from Makerere University in 1979.

From 1979 until 1988, Beatrice Wabudeya worked as a Veterinary Officer in Mbale District.

1988

From 1988 until 1993, she worked as the Chief District Veterinary Officer for Mbale District.

1993

From 1993 until 1996, she served as the Chief Production Officer for Mbale District.

1996

She went on to obtain a Master of Science (MSc) degree, specializing in Agricultural Extension, also from Makerere University in 1996.

In 1996, she entered politics and contested for the Mbale District Women's seat on the National Resistance Movement ticket.

1998

From 1998 until 1999, she served as Minister of State for Gender & Cultural Affairs.
