debut on _"Ed Sullivan Show, The" (1955)_. That proved to be a defining moment for our subject, cementing his aspirations of working in the performing arts. On his 6th birthday, Barry chose a guitar over a rowboat. His first play followed when he played 'Old King Cole' in a first grade production of Mother Goose. Playing his first nightclub gig at age 13, Barry, went on to play in several prominent club bands across the country.

Born May 28th, 1958 in Amarillo, Texas, Randal 'Barry' Orton, arrived in Kansas City, Mo. three days later with his mother, Rita, at the wheel of the car. This served as an early sample of what life would hold for the newborn, Barry, as his father, Bob Orton Sr. , 'The Big O' was a professional wrestler and the family rarely spent more than a few years in any one geographical region.

His father, Big Bob Orton shared the WWWF (now the WWF) World Tag-Team Championship with wrestling legend, Buddy Rogers 1961-1962 holding the all-time attendance record for any event ever in the history of the old Madison Square Garden against Bearcat Wright and Argentina Antonio Rocca, attended Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, Kansas and played H.S. football with his fellow student and now life-long friend, Ed Asner of TV's Lou Grant.

On February 9, 1964 in their Tampa, Florida living room, Barry and his family watched with millions of other Americans as The Beatles made their U. S.

In 1976 after being disappointed by a "near miss" record deal, he found himself once again in Tampa, Florida, this time being trained by his father and brother, "The Ace" Cowboy Bob Orton, to follow in his family's footsteps into the world of professional wrestling. This initiated an inner struggle which saw him rebound between the worlds of wrestling and rock & roll for the next decade and a half.

Was NWA Americas Tag Champion with partner Hector Guerrero in 1979.

Held both the 'North American' and the 'Southern States' Heavyweight Wrestling Tag Team Titles concurrently with Brother Bob Orton (1980-1981).

Sister Rhonda Orton, accompanied close friend André the Giant during filming of The Princess Bride (1987) at Lee International Studios, Shepperton, UK. There she became acquainted with Wallace Shawn. As fate would have it, a decade later in 1997, Rhonda, a gaming industry professional in Las Vegas, was hired to coach Mr. Shawn as a blackjack dealer for _Vegas Vacation_ (1997).

In 1991, Barry landed the role of 'Wild Thing' in the local Vegas TV show 'Vegas Rocks.

' This led to a local commercial and an (uncredited) part in Honeymoon in Vegas (1992). After struggling with inner demons and the music industry for the next several years, Barry resurfaced as a serious pupil in the craft of acting.

In 1998 During treatment for drug and alcohol abuse, Barry, and close friend, top ranked Equestrian Competitor, Esther Hillner became partners in ownership of Harmonious (Harvey), a Dutch Warmblood ranked in the top three in the nation for Dressage Musical Freestyle before a suspensory injury, neglect by his trainer and an addiction to painkillers and sedatives left his career in question. Incredibly, the bond of horse and man both in recovery and rehabilitation proved to be a therapy Barry, most adapted to. Barry, now drug-free, studies fine arts in Las Vegas and New York and Harmonious, has prevailed as reserve champion in his first two Hunter/Jumper competitions.

Shaved his eyebrows for his cameo as Dog Guy in Mission Idiot (2003).
