Andrew S. Wyant (born November 22, 1968) is an American health and fitness entrepreneur who is President and CEO of the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) and the 2022 CEO World Awards winner.

He was previously President of the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

He has been credited for the growth in personal training certification over the past decade and was awarded the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Prior to joining the fitness industry, Wyant was responsible for leading the sales and marketing of LifeLock, including the infamous Social Security campaign.

1984

Wyant was raised in Hamilton, Ohio, and relocated to the Philadelphia Main Line suburb of Gladwyne, Pennsylvania in 1984 where he graduated from Harriton High School in Rosemont, Pennsylvania in 1987.

While at Harriton High School, Wyant was as Student Body President and Captain of the golf team, squash team, and the undefeated school debate team.

1987

He attended the University of Pennsylvania from 1987 to 1991 where he received his BS in economics from the Wharton School of Business.

Wyant was a member of the Penn Men's Glee Club from 1987 to 1989 and was president of the Delta Upsilon Colony in 1988.

1991

After graduating from Wharton in 1991, Wyant worked in management consulting for the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) After BCG, Wyant joined the Specialty Foods Corporation in 1993 where he served as Executive Vice President of Metz Baking Company.

1997

In 1997, he became President of Natural Golf Corporation, and was still in this leadership position when the company completed an IPO on the American Stock Exchange in 2003

2007

In 2007, Wyant joined the start-up LifeLock where he served as the head of marketing and was responsible for the growth and development of the LifeLock CEO's social security marketing campaign.

Controversy over the Lifelock campaigns let to significant FTC settlements while the company grew from $18.9 million in sales in 2007 to $193.9 million in 2011 under Wyant's marketing leadership.

2009

Wyant received the Gold Stevie Award as 2009 Marketing Executive of the Year from the American Business Awards for his work on the LifeLock campaign and was a recipient of an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2014.

Wyant was named as 2022 CEO of the Year by Globee International.

2011

Wyant was named the President of the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2011 and led the company to 25% a year revenue growth.

2016

LifeLock was sold to Norton Symantec for $2.3 billion in 2016.

2019

In 2019, Wyant joined ISSA as its president and CEO and has led it to a 126% growth rate and a place in the Inc 5000 list.

In 2021, ISSA was acquired by Tailwind Capital in a transaction advised by Harris Williams.

In 2022, under Wyant's leadership, ISSA was ranked within the top twenty Best Places to Work in 2022 by the Phoenix Business Journal.
