Alireza Hashemzadeh (Persian: علیرضا هاشم‌زاده ‎, born September 12, 1995 in Gonbad-e Kavus) is a Karateka from Iran. He holds several gold and bronze medals at World and Asian Karate tournaments. In a poll conducted in 2018, among 50 national heroes and players, Hashemzadeh was ranked 7th out of 10 selected national heroes.

2010

Hashemzadeh began his professional career as a Karate trainer after a talent hunt organized by karate coach Ahmad Safarkhani in 2010 and was invited to was invited to the Islamic Republic of Iran's Karate Youth National Team after six months. In his first international competition, he went to Turkey with the Youth Karate National Team, which won two individual and team gold medals. He also won Iranian Karate Super League Title with Paas Qavamin team. Hashemzadeh was named Iran's cultural and sports ambassador to China in 2017.
