Alvino Rizky Kusumabrata (born 2004) is an Indonesian journalist, writer, and painter.

He was an editor for Kompas.

Alvino Rizky Kusumabrata was born in 2004 in Surakarta, Central Java, as the child and son of Ika Widyasarika, a psychologist, and Agus Suprapto, a physician.

He had a twin brother, Alvito Rizki Sidartawan (b. 2004), a mechanical engineer.

On 29 January 2021, during his time as a highschool student at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta majoring in social science, Kusumabrata was awarded the most outstanding student for one semester and received a prize in the form of assistance with education costs for three months with a total of IDR.

After graduated from highschool with honor, Kusumabrata went to Faculty of Law at Gadjah Mada University majoring in law in 2023.

Kusumabrata started his career as painter during his time as a seven grade student at SMP Negeri 9 Surakarta.

He routinely paints autodidactically using a scribblings technique that only uses a pen.

Kusumabrata then published batik paintings with various mastery of painting techniques and also published portrait paintings of figures such as heroes, consisting of Sukarno, Mohammad Hatta, Kartini, Pramoedya Ananta Toer, Nelson Mandela, and Fidel Castro.

He wrote the inspiring stories behind the portraits of the characters he painted and used simple media but could express the freedom he had and uses various techniques such as aquarelle, placards, cross sketching, pointillism, color painting techniques for landscape drawings, and pen drawing techniques for character portraits.

In January 2018, Kusumabrata's painting was exhibited at an art exhibition held in Sukoharjo Regency.

During the exhibition, he succeeded in selling several works of his paintings.

In 2021, Kusumabrata became a journalist for Kumparan.

On 27 November, he published a story titled Ke Tempat Baru in two parts which tells about a psychiatrist who feel sorry for the fate of an ostracized tribe.

On 1 November 2022, Kusumabrata wrote an article about repression in Indonesian education for 12 years and criticized the uniformization of education by calling it a destroyer of the essence of education and teaching teachers a repressive way of leading.

As of 2023, he worked for several news publishers, such as IndoProgress, Tirto, Kompas, and Balairungpress owned by Gadjah Mada University.

On 20 September, Kusumabrata published an article about draft Law for the protection of domestic workers and advocating the draft to immediately ratified as a form of legal product and also to protect the quality of work protection for domestic workers.

On 9 October, he published an article in Kompas about Pancasila which is constrained in its application but is continuously forced to be remembered within the scope of formal education.

On 8 November, Kusumabrata participated in a historical discussion about state civil servants who were prohibited from forming unions which was held at Faculty of Political Science at Gadjah Mada University, as well became a book reviewers of Workers and Democracy: The Indonesian Labor Movement by John Ingleson.

Apart from writing, Kusumabrata is also active in taking part in the Kamisan action and wrote articles criticizing the government about it.
