Aldous Byron Clarkson

Aldous Byron Clarkson started his career at the age of 19 as a pop artist 'Valensia', achieving super stardom in Japan and Asia at the age of 22 and selling over 1 million copies of his debut album 'Gaia', for which he received the prestigious Edison Award in 1994. After a music career which spanned two decades he was 37 when starting writing the screenplay for his debut film 'spo0K', which was released in 2013.

Edison award winning multi-instrumentalist Aldous Byron Clarkson achieved international success and mega stardom in Japan with his debut album 'Gaia', selling over 1 million copies of his debut album 'Valensia'. He wrote and composed the album at the age of 16. After a career which spanned more than 2 decades Clarkson still was only 37 years old and could easily switch to the film industry as a movie director, having directed most of his own video clips. In 2011 Clarkson wrote, produced and financed his first feature film 'spo0K'. Both cast and crew initially thought Clarkson was a wealthy, spoiled rock star who just wanted to do a movie for a change, causing tensions on the set and leaving Clarkson with only 60% of the movie shot. Clarkson was about to throw away the entire production shot on RED but managed to complete the severely damaged movie using a cheap handy cam and directing his two main actors one on one.

In 2014 Clarkson then came up with the impossible sounding project to do a feature film called 'Levine' all by himself, without a crew, a cast or a budget.

Warned by many that this idea was a too huge project for one man Clarkson commenced principal photography on November 2014 with a RED camera and nothing more.
