The son of an Italian-American shoemaker and amateur actor. Graduated in commercial art from Kent State University, Ohio. From the early 1960's, became a regular performer on the London stage and in British television shows. This included many guest spots on popular series like "The Prisoner" and "Department S", as well as a recurring part in the satirical "That Was the Week That Was" (which he landed on the strength of a performance in "The Premise" at the Comedy Theatre in the West End).

1993

He was an actor and writer, known for Falling Down (1993), Miller's Crossing (1990) and The Dirty Dozen (1967). He was married to Carlyn Clayton and Denny Dayviss.

2005
