She was a bronze medalist at the 1996 World Junior Championships.

1998

In 1998 she broke the 14-metre barrier for the first time, with 14.53 metres.

1999

In 1999 she improved to 14.71 metres.

She won the bronze medal at the 1999 Universiade, finished twelfth at the 1999 World Indoor Championships, eleventh at the 1999 World Championships, eighth at the 2001 World Indoor Championships and at the 2001 Universiade.

2002

In 2002, she had a mediocre season in 2002, with 13.51 metres as her season's best.

The next year she improved to new lengths, jumping 14.75 metres in September.

2003

She finished twelfth at the 2003 World Indoor Championships, ninth at the 2003 World Championships, seventh at the 2003 World Athletics Final, seventh at the 2004 World Indoor Championships and fifteenth at the 2004 Olympic Games.
